Ocean Tide Beach Resort, San Pedro (Ambergris Caye)

I had a wonderful stay at Ocean Tides, where the central location made it easy to explore San Pedro. The rooms were clean and met all my needs, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making my experience even better. While the road outside is quite busy, the beautiful beach provided a nice escape. The bar area was a highlight, with great drinks and a fun atmosphere. It's a fantastic value for money, but I did find the need for additional storage in the room.

I was really looking forward to my stay, but it ended up being quite disappointing. The hotel advertised itself as a resort, but fell short in terms of comfort and cleanliness. However, the location by the beach was outstanding and the complimentary coffee in the mornings was a nice perk. Unfortunately, the noise levels, especially at night, made it hard to relax.

The beach is maintained beautifully, and the location is perfect for exploring local culture. However, some areas of the hotel seem a bit outdated, and noise from neighboring rooms can be a concern.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, but the thin walls made it hard to sleep with all the noise from the outside, especially at night. While the location was great for beach access and nearby restaurants, the service had some issues, especially regarding check-in and tours.
